Service Description: Boundary framework for Forest Practice Act (FPA) management areas. Areas include non legally defined stewardship forester boundaries and legal state forests boundaries. A service area allows ODF to assign a forester to monitor forest activities within defined boundaries. This area feature is used to assign a forester to notifications submitted via the FERNS web application and surveys submitted via the FLSTS web application. State forest boundaries are provided by the ODF Managed land feature data. The stewardship forester boundaries are provided by ODF districts. The districts will update stewardship forester boundaries as needed to accommodate workloads. Also included in this information is contact information for foresters.
